Evidence-of-insurability flows route to the carrier and track completion against the originating enrollment. Auto-update of enrollment status on carrier decision is on the roadmap; today the EOI status surfaces on the policy record so 'pending EOI' isn't invisible.

EDI 834 to the carrier, out of the box

Enrollments write the same object that Atlas's EDI module ships to the carrier. Your HR admin never sees a pipe-delimited file. Inbound 999 ACKs reconcile back to the originating transmission with line-by-line error detail; 277 / 277CA claim-status responses parse the same way — per-claim STC status matched back to the outbound by TRN02.

Is this replacing Employee Navigator / bswift / Benefitfocus?
For the brokers we work with, yes. Atlas Ben Admin covers the same core workflows (OE, life events, EOI, EDI 834) with two differences: (1) it’s white-labeled to your agency, not the vendor, and (2) the enrollment data lives in the same system as your CRM, so there’s nothing to sync.
How do we price this to our clients?
You set what you charge your client. Atlas’s structure is built so the spread is yours. We don’t publish pricing publicly — talk to sales.
Can we keep our existing ben-admin vendor for some clients?
Yes. Ben Admin is a module. Turn it on per-client. Clients staying on their current ben-admin still get every other Atlas benefit (CRM, renewals, commissions, SBC parser). No all-or-nothing.
What about EDI to the carriers? We have a vendor for that.
Atlas’s EDI module generates and ships outbound 834s via SFTP using per-carrier companion-guide configuration. Inbound 999 (technical ACK) and 277 / 277CA (claim status) reconciliation both ship today — AK3 / AK4 / STC errors land back on the originating outbound, matched by control number / TRN02. Brokers replacing the most expensive part of Empyrean / BenefitMall / Softheon do it on the outbound 834 plus the inbound 999 + 277 reconciliation today; AS2 transport, full-file delta detection, and the rest of those vendors’ surface area lands as we ship. Prefer your existing pipeline? Ben Admin can hand off enrollment events via webhook.
Is it HIPAA-compliant? We handle PHI during enrollment.

What's the implementation timeline?
A first white-labeled client goes live in about 2 weeks: domain + brand setup (day 1), plan builds from parsed SBCs (days 2-5), EDI carrier connection (days 5-10), OE launch window (week 2). Subsequent clients are faster once your agency template is set.
Can we migrate enrollments from our old system?
Yes. We accept CSV or direct export from Employee Navigator, bswift, Benefitfocus, PlanSource, and Zenefits. Implementation includes the import and reconciliation against carrier eligibility files.
